When you own your business’s real estate you own a tangible asset that builds wealth. In most instances owning requires less cash flow than leasing a comparable space. Experts agree, owning your own building makes sense and can be the best financial decision of your professional life. It will increase the long-term value of your business and provide you with many tax advantages over leasing.

The city of Nashville and Davidson County merged in 1963 as a way for Nashville to combat the problems of urban sprawl. The combined entity is officially known as “the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County”, and is popularly known as “Metro Nashville” or simply “Metro”. It offers services such as police, fire, electricity, water and sewage treatment.

There are six smaller municipalities within the consolidated city-county: Belle Meade, Berry Hill, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Goodlettsville, and Ridgetop. These municipalities use a two-tier system of government, with the smaller municipality typically providing police services and the Metro Nashville government providing most other services.

Goodlettsville is a city in Davidson and Sumner counties, Tennessee.  At the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 15,921 and in 2019 the population was 16,798.

Goodlettsville’s rich history includes a deep connection with Nashville. At one time nearly all the country music stars called Goodlettsville their home, and some still do. From Patsy Cline to Grandpa Jones, Loretta Lynn, Bill Monroe, and now Garth Brooks and Trish Yearwood, along with many others, Goodlettsville has always been a convenient location to step away from the bright lights of the stage to a down home, comfortable, and friendly place to live.
